Chair of Trustees

Hours per month: 3-4

This is a voluntary position

What will you be doing?

 

You will be responsible for ensuring strong governance,  strategic oversight and overall leadership to the trustee board.

You will also be responsible for providing direction to the Chief Officer and senior management and ensuring that suitable support and guidance is available where required.

 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with leadership experience, an understanding of the services we provide and the determination to ensure that we continue to provide quality advice services to Knowsley residents in a climate where there is increased demand for our services and continued pressure on funding. 

We are looking for someone who will take the lead at our board meetings, ensuring that all Trustees are able to contribute, show their skills, knowledge and experience and enable the board to make effective decisions.

 

What difference will you make?

As Chair, you will provide leadership and influence over the future direction of the organisation; be a spokesperson, ambassador and custodian of Citizens Advice Knowsley.

You will be leading a board of trustees, working to maintain a crucial advice service to Knowsley residents, working on ensuring that we remain relevent to our service users.
